I can totally understand how you feel. I went through the same thing myself, and I know how frustrating and confusing it is. I remember literally lying in bed every morning and just loathing myself and going over all the ways I had let myself down. I always had some new quick-fix that I thought would make everything better. Change the way I eat...exercise more...buy new clothes. I just felt like I was chasing my tail every day, so stressed out and confused but never making any progress.
And I was definitely using my body as a scapegoat to distract me from the real problems.
I finally went through months of treatment for binge-eating disorder and discovered Intuitive Eating in the process, which completely changed my life and altered the course of my Health Coaching business. I'm now dedicated to helping women escape the prison of dieting and learn to live their best lives in the bodies they have right now.
I am trained as an Intuitive Eating Counselor, Tapping (EFT) Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, and Hypnotist, which are all tools I've used in my own journey to peace with food and full self-acceptance.
